Research associate (m/f/d) with masters degree

International research group in the field of organometallic chemistry and snthesis.

A scientific researcher is sought for a 6-month research project in the field of bowl-shaped molecules and their crystals.

Scope: part-time
Duration: fixed-term, 6 month

Your tasks:

  • You will carry out syntheses, focusing on domino processes, organometallic chemistry, and functionalizations.
  • Together with other members of the group, you will collect experimental data and complete the analytical characterization of the compounds you have isolated in pure form.
  • You will document your results and prepare manuscripts for publication.

Your profile:

Applicants must hold a completed Master’s degree in Chemistry, possess excellent skills in organic synthesis and analysis, and have specific experience in solid-phase synthesis. A strong theoretical background in stoichiometric organometallic chemistry, catalytic organometallic chemistry, and synthesis planning is also required.

    The position is salaried and based on the collective agreement of the Länder (TV-L). If the personal and collective agreement requirements are met, the employee will receive pay grade E13 TV-L.

    If the position is funded by third-party funds the employee has no teaching obligation.
