Research assistant (WHB) (m/f/x) with a Bachelor's degree
At UbiSys, we cover a wide range of research topics, ranging from securing embedded and mobile devices to investigating privacy threats in machine learning, software-defined networks and web applications. We are part of the Faculty of Computer Science, Horst Görtz Institute for IT Security and Cluster of Excellence CASA.
The Chair for Security and Privacy of Ubiquitous is looking for a research assistant to help with on-going research related to LLM privacy.

Your tasks:
- Assisting in transcribing data from interview studies for analysis
- Assisting in coding qualitative data
- Supporting with technical implementation of chatbot prototypes and integrating various media (ex. GIFs, stickers) into them
Your profile:
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant discipline
- Excellent programming skills (Python)
- A good command of spoken and written English
- Good communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with your peers and stakeholders

Further information:
The opening is for an undergraduate assistant and is governed by § 6 of the Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz (engl. Academic Fixed-Term Contract Act; WissZeitVG). The hourly wage is 16,30 €.The Place of work is Ruhr University Bochum.
