Postdoc (m/f/x) in plasma astroparticle physics (39,83 h/week, TV-L E13) till 31.08.2025.
The position is thematically related to plasma-astroparticle physics.

The applicant (m/f/x) is expected to address the following topics and tasks:

- Analysis of IceCube data
- Performing IceCube simulations
- in particular, perfoming and extending the analysis of Moon and Sun Shadows
- Testing and improving directional reconstruction methods with IceCube
- Comparison with theoretical models
Your profile:
- a very good PhD degree with focus on physics is required
- Prior knowledge of IceCube data analysis desirable
