The research group High Performance Computing focuses on design and implementation of efficient and scalable algorithms for the numerical treatment of scientific and engineering applications. Employing latest high-performance computing systems, it strives to develop and employ efficient algorithms in the engineering practice. The thematic focus of the offered position is the design and implementation of optimization algorithms for the spatial decomposition of existing buildings based on building information models, the interconnection with the dismantling sequence planning as well as research data management aspects. The position offers the opportunity to pursue a doctorate.
