Geothermal Energy Systems
In order to fill a fixed-term position in part-time (7.5 hours per week) at the earliest possible date, we are looking for one
Research Assistant (WHB) (m/f/x) with a Bachelor's degree
The Chair of Geothermal Energy Systems is concerned with the utilisation of underground space as an infrastructural element of climate-neutral energy systems of the future. The focus is on the development of technologies for geothermal systems for the generation of heat, cold and electricity. The scientific focus of the chair is on the upstream sector with innovative drilling methods, geothermal, reservoir and production technologies. The head of the chair is also the director of the Fraunhofer IEG - Institute for Energy Infrastructures and Geothermal Energy, which ensures close links between university and non-university research.
As a research assistant (m/f/x) you will support the research team and help with administrative issues.

Your tasks:
- Revision of lecture materials
- Digitisation of exercises and their integration/inclusion in Moodle
Your profile:
- Good knowledge of English and German
- Affinity for computer-aided tools
- Openness and commitment
- An independent and proactive way of working
- Experience with Moodle
- Reliability and dependability
- Currently a student in the field of mechanical engineering
- Conscientiousness, personal responsibility

Further information:
The opening is for an undergraduate assistant and is governed by § 6 of the Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz (engl. Academic Fixed-Term Contract Act; WissZeitVG). The hourly wage is 16,30 €.The Place of work is Ruhr University Bochum.
